Business Awards - Return on Investment in Training
PRESS RELEASE – September 06
A research-led approach to measuring return on investment in training has led 3C Associates to be recognised as one of the most innovative in the Henley-on-Thames area. The company, owned by local entrepreneur Hedda Bird, has been shortlisted for the Henley on Thames Business Awards in the category 'Most Innovative Company of the Year.'
New research launched by the company earlier this year showed that many organisations duck the issue of training evaluation because they think it's too difficult or are frankly a little afraid of what the results might show. 3C Associates has developed a radical new approach to measuring the return on investment in training that goes beyond 'happy sheets' and provides the HR Director with some realistic figures that increases his or her credibility with financial colleagues.
This Award will be presented on 29th September to the company most able to demonstrate one of more of the following:
- Innovation on either a small or large scale.
- An innovative product, service, procedure or idea that has been developed in the last two years.
- Benefits that the innovation has created to either/both end-user and developing company.
