How to Implement Effective Training Evaluation

A one-day interactive workshop for Learning & Development teams. At the end of the workshop, your team will understand what you need in place to create effective evaluation within your organisation.
WORKSHOP DETAIL
Following a brief telephone consultation with a member of your team, this in-house workshop will be tailored to focus on the evaluation needs of your organisation.
Delegates will learn skills that will enable them to:
- understand exactly what senior management want to know about training
- understand the role ROI plays in valuing training impact
- refresh their knowledge of the Kirkpatrick model
- know the ROI formula
- understand how to build A LINE OF SIGHT
- identify the value indicators for a training programme
- have the key elements of a training cost model
- know the different approaches to data gathering
- understand the limitations of data gathering
- understand the dangers of cost-based decisions
- apply many of the ideas and concepts to a specific training programme or evaluation project
The workshop will include practical exercises and case studies.
WORKSHOP OUTCOMES
Following the workshop, delegates will:
- have a basic understanding of the key training evaluation tools and techniques
- be able to apply the ROI in training tools to evaluation projects
- have a comprehensive manual and worked example useful for future reference
